Workshop at Al-Kawn school in Jeddah

Upon invitation from the school, the chair held a workshop on 27 March 2010 in which Dr. Samia gave a lecture to female students and staff. She also gave them a thorough briefing about the chair and its pioneering role in spreading awareness about the disease and early detection, inviting them to be ambassadors for the concept of the chair, especially that they, as midschool and high school students, are not required to get themselves checked for infliction. The workshop also featured a training course for the students on self-inspection by healthcare educator Sumayyah Abdulwahhab.

Students showed their interest by volunteering to spread word about the chair through online social media. One student designed banners about breast cancer.
