On the occasion of the World Health Day, Dr. Samia Al-Amoudi was invited to give a speech about the importance of early detection and her own experience with the disease at the Higher Technical Institute for Women on 7 April 2009. She told the audience about the importance of girls’ role in spreading the message to their mothers and friends about early detection. Some 100 students and teachers attended.
