King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah launches "a chair of Women's Health Rights which is the first of its kind in the region. This chair reflects the vision of his Excellency Prof. Osama Tayeb, the president of the University to the upgrading of the University and realizing the aspirations of the homeland, with the financial support of a well-known businessman Sheikh Mohammed Hussien Al-Amoudi and supervision of Dr. Samia Al-Amoudi.

According to Dr. Samia Al-Amoudi chairwoman and founder of " Women's Health rights Chair ": "It is a dream coming true, the rights of women in my country is not only right of women to driving ... ... Health Rights is a priority for women and is one of their human basic and fundamental , without their health women will be unable to carry out its tasks as mother and wife, and unable to meet the requirements of its work in any sector, but that did not enjoy these rights renders it unable to claim the other rights.

Health rights include cancer patients and breast cancer in particular rights , reproductive health rights and safe motherhood, psychological and physical health of girls and others.

In conclusion, Dr. Samia emphasizes her gratitude to His Excellency, the president of the University Prof. Osama Bin Sadeq Tayeb, who shows great support to the idea and extends her gratitude to Sheikh Mohammad Hussein Al-Amoudi, who continue to support all chairs and proves he is a great philanthropist and support to his civil society through previous continued support in the establishment of the Breast Cancer Chair followed by the Center of Excellence in Breast Cancer at the University and now Chair of Women's Health Rights...

The chair duration is three years and will achieve partnerships with governmental bodies active in this regard such locally and internationally and the draft is one of the steps towards "the world of class in women's health" as is our motto, which quotes from the premise of His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Prince of the Mecca region.
